1. RESIDENT EVIL 2
First big production to open the annual ball of the sector videoludic , Resident Evil 2 is offered a remake of high flight. His Goku, Ryo Saeba (aka Nicky Larson in France), Luffy, Naruto or Seiya … Jump Force promises to be the ultimate crossover for manga fans . Bandai-Namco brings together the main heroes and heroines of the Japanese licenses published by the magazine Shonen Jump for a game of royal fights. What to finally decide, in order to know who Dragon Ball super warriors , One Piece hackers or super heroes from My Hero Academia are the strongest.
4. CRACKDOWN 3
Expected since 2014 during its official announcement by Microsoft, Crackdown 3 is an exclusivity of the Xbox One catalog and Windows 10 PC for the year 2019. Its chaotic development has caused the worst fear to the trade press, for a title that was to be released initially end of 2017. Still, this GTA-Like of the future promises to be fun and could, who knows, create the surprise.
5. METRO EXODUS
Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s series of successful post-apocalyptic novels and two first-time video game adaptations, Metro Exodus returns to the already-described Russian hell. As the name suggests, this new component should focus on a long journey of nuclear winter survivors. Bad news, the mutants will always be at the rendezvous to ensure long evenings of anxiety. Impressively technically, this Metro Exodus could claim to become one of the best games of the year, if its scenario follows.
After the commercial failure of Mass Effect Andromeda, the studio Bioware plays its future on the sales of Anthem. Blockbuster full of adrenaline, this action game invites to slip into the skin of mechas-exoskeletons to fight as well on land, underwater or in the air. All in an open world of dazzling beauty. Thought primarily for the mulitplayer online, Anthem has all the weapons in hand to become one of the pillars of the game year.
7. DEVIL MAY CRY 5
After Resident Evil 2, the Japanese publisher Capcom will put the cover with Devil May Cry 5. The latter promises to take over the torch of this saga that had redefined the action games from the release of the first part in 2001. Nero, Dante and a mysterious hero returns to chase the demon in a stylish game, carried by an inspired artistic direction.
8. THE DIVISION 2
The success of The Division, released in 2016, has strengthened Ubisoft in the idea of making a franchise. Here again the post-apocalyptic aspect of the previous opus is resumed, the objective here being to save the city of Washington DC on pain of the United States collapsing. Cooperation and sense of tactics will always be at the heart of the gameplay of this multiplayer title which should take the flag in an interesting way.
9. SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE
From Software came out of relative anonymity thanks to the Dark Souls trilogy, a masterpiece and hit more popular than expected. Activision has teamed up with the Japanese studio to produce a new major title: Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. A game combining action and infiltration in the heart of a medieval Japan fantasy, populated by samurai, ninjas and demons. Graphically superb, Sekiro also shines with a gameplay that looks very varied.
10. YOSHI’S CRAFTED WORLD
Becoming a key figure in the Nintendo universe, Yoshi has taken advantage, since Yoshi’s Island on Super Nintendo (1995), of his own series of platform games. Subtitled Crafted World, this new album marks the arrival of his adventures on Switch. Entirely conceived in a world of cardboard and paper, this new component should delight young and old, thanks to a clever gameplay carried by a cute graphic universe.
